Please pray for me. I struggle a lot with being single and I truly desire to be married. Please pray that Jesus Christ will help me find a wife. Proverbs 18:22 says that he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord. Please pray that Jesus Christ in His mercy and grace will make this verse from Proverbs become a reality in my own life soon and that Jesus Christ will help me be a good husband. Thank you so much. May God bless all of you and your church family.

In a recent search of my 10 year old son’s Chromebook, I found the following searches: how to commit suicide when you’re afraid of death, how to make your parents proud, how to die, why am I such a disappointment when I try so hard, and I want to die. While he is almost 11, he is intelligent far beyond his years. He is a newer student to the area who is having a hard time fitting in and finding friends. He is a football player and while he dominates on the field, he has a hard time connecting with the kids on his team. He comes from divorced parents. We are also pretty strict when it comes to grades, and his standards are higher than ours. The remote learning platform has been incredibly hard to adapt to and his grades reflect that. My son is sad and lonely. He has internalized everything and not mentioned anything to us except that he’s sad, something I feel like everyone is experiencing. This is particularly bothersome because he isn’t saying and thinking these things for attention. We are searching for a counselor but with working parents and sports, it feels impossible to find one with appointment times that align with our schedules. Please pray for my son. He is an incredibly intelligent boy with a broken heart.
